Built in 1858, the Bass Harbor Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in all of Maine. Located within Tremont, it marks the entrance to Bass Harbor on the southwestern side of Mount Desert Island. Sunrise and sunset are popular times to visit, but if you ask us there’s never a bad time to take in such a picturesque view in beautiful Acadia National Park.
